Allow For Unforeseen Circumstances

In the northern part of Korean, there are plenty of persimmon plantations on the countryside road. When it is the harvest time for persimmons in the golden autumn, so every so often the local farmer would leave some ripe persimmons on the tree. They said that it is the food offers for magpies.

When visitors passed through this place, they felt strange and unbelievable. Then, the tour guide would tell them a story: It is a habitat for magpies, at each winter magpies would build their homes on the tree for spending their winter. One year, the weather was not only especially chilly but also snowed heavily. There were hundreds of magpies died of starvation within a night. In the next year, there was a kind of unknown insect which overrun, it caused no harvest in that autumn at all. Only at that time people thought of the magpies. If there had magpies, the insect disaster certainly avoided. From then on, people leaves some ripe persimmons on the tree in every golden autumn so that magpies have food to spend their winter.

We have to leave an appropriate margin for unforeseen circumstances. It would be our hope and opportunity someday.
